Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 13, 2026

This policy describes what data Pupi collects, why, and how it is processed. Pupi is a dog health diary operated by Luca Panzi (the “Controller”), reachable at luca.panzi95@gmail.com.

Data we collect

  • Account data: email address and password (stored in encrypted form by our authentication provider).
  • Household data: the household name and the list of its members.
  • Dog data: profile (name, breed, sex, birth date), health records (weight, stools, symptoms, exams, visits, diet plans) and any photos or documents you attach.
  • Technical data: push notification tokens (if you enable reminders), timezone and preferred language.

We do not collect location data, we show no advertising and we never sell data to third parties.

Why we process it

Solely to provide the service: showing the diary to your household members, sending the reminders you enabled and generating the share links you choose to create. Legal basis: performance of the contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR).

Who we share it with

  • Your household members on Pupi see the household’s dogs and their data.
  • Anyone holding a share link you created can view the read-only page; you can revoke any link at any time from settings.
  • Technical providers hosting the infrastructure (Supabase for database, authentication and file storage; Railway for application hosting), acting as data processors.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, all data and files you solely own are erased; data belonging to a shared household remains available to its other members.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your data by writing to luca.panzi95@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

Cookies

We only use technical cookies: your login session and your language preference. No profiling or third-party cookies.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will flag it in the app. The current version is always available on this page.
